N. IRELAND COMPANY WINS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD
Technical Transport Products has been awarded Thermo King’s top award ‘Dealer of the Year’. The Ballymena based company picked up the award at the recent Dealer Principal’s Conference in Bratislava, Slovakia, competing for this prestigious award against dealerships from Europe, Africa, Middle East and CIS.
The facility has grown today to a 7 bay workshop and a fleet of fully equipped vehicles offering 24/7 coverage 365 days a year.
TTP began life at a time when refrigerated transport in N. Ireland was in its infancy but as the need for transport refrigeration grew and with the weight of Thermo King behind it, so did the company. Thermo King is the global leader in transport temperature control solutions with TTP holding the dealership for N. Ireland.
The award was presented to TTP’s Dealer Principals Kathryn Dickey and Tracy Martin who have successfully taken over from their father Billy Finlay who founded the company in 1977. Since then the company has grown over the years to meet customer needs and industry demands and has developed into an efficient and effective customer focussed Dealership.
The company has a 7 bay repair facility in addition to dedicated on-site mobile engineers at customer premises. They have progressively grown their service and aftermarket business which includes offering maintenance contracts from international coverage through to those who require local (N. Ireland based) contracts.
David O’Gorman (Commercial Director Climate Control Technologies UK & Ireland, Thermo King) and Fred Rogers (Sales & Service Manager Ireland, Thermo King) recently came to the Ballymena site to congratulate everyone on their achievement. Kathryn Dickey commented “To have our dealership winning this award is fantastic, it is a great achievement for our company, but it is a team effort and everyone in TTP should be acknowledged for this award.”
